Gaia Green Bone Meal
Gaia Green Bone Meal is known for having a high concentration of plant available nitrogen. This essential nutrient is released gradually over the season as the protein decomposes in the soil. In addition, Gaia Green Bone Meal is gentle on soil microbes that encourage humus production and good soil tilth; the key to sustainable productivity. Gaia Green Bone Meal flows freely and evenly and can be applied by spreader or hand.
Bone Meal contains nearly 3% nitrogen, 22% total phosphate, and 30% lime in a compound called phosphate of lime. As such, it is the finest form of phosphate fertilizer and a premium biological stimulant for garden and nursery use. Bone Meal will act as a lime, raising the pH of the soil. We recommend the efficient and economic use of Bone Meal beneath garden rows and transplants to supply the immediate root zones, particularly in acid soil.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Gardens and landscapes: Broadcast and incorporate up to 0.5 kg per 10 m2 (1 lbs per 100 ft2). Apply up to a maximum of 2 kg per 10 m2 (4 lbs per 100 ft2) annually.
Field Rate: Apply up to 1600 kg per ha (1784 lb per acre) annually.
Turf: For single applications, broadcast up to 0.6 kg per 25 m2 (5 lbs per 1000 ft2). Apply up to a maximum of 1.7 kg per 25 m2 (14 lbs per 1000 ft2) annually. Water turf thoroughly after application. Only apply to actively growing turf.
Top-dressing hanging baskets, potted plants and planter boxes: Add 5 ml per 4 L (1 tsp per gallon) of soil or growing medium. Gently dig into soil surface up to once a month.
Store in a cool, dry location, out of direct sunlight. Protect from frost and other climatic extremes. Seal packaging between uses.
